At GALE Partners, we are currently seeking a Web Analyst to join our rapidly growing Data Science and Analytics (DSA) team - ones that have a passion for working with digital data and other key data sources to derive actionable insights, as well as strategize and implement accurate measurement solutions across websites and mobile apps. Successful candidates will work with clients and internal stakeholders, both business and technical, to support online measurement strategies throughout the business. Attention to detail and a desire to dig deep and explore to get results are a must.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a quantitative or marketing-related field and have experience working with the web and collecting, analyzing, and presenting data. You will have the opportunity to work across a wide variety of clients and websites across all sectors.

What You Will Do

  • Support the creation and maintenance of measurement plans for small and large websites and apps
  • Communicate these measurement plans and technical specifics to developers and other technical stakeholders
  • Implement analytics and media tags and pixels using Tag Management Systems
  • Configuration of web analytics tools for different measurement goals
  • Testing and debugging analytics development work
  • Analysis of website data and other related data sources using web analytics platforms as well as Excel or other analysis tools
  • Design and maintenance of web analytics dashboards using analytics and BI tools

Who You Are

  • Advanced/Expert knowledge in at least one leading Web Analytics platform, preferably Google Analytics. Knowledge in Adobe Analytics and other leading tools preferred
  • At least two years of experience with Tag Management Systems (TMS) such as Google Tag Manager
  • Experience implementing measurement tags & pixels on websites (Google Analytics event tags in particular)
  • Strong understanding of HTML and website structure
  • Experience in defining the structure of data layer implementations
  • Experience with implementing Google Analytics for Firebase
  • Experience analyzing datasets and delivering insights in Excel or statistical analysis tools such as R or Python
  • Self-starter and a team player with a strategic mindset
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with debugging implementations using tools like Fiddler, Charles, or web debuggers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Nice to haves
  • A good level of JavaScript programming is strongly preferred
  • Experience with scripting (Python, Bash, etc.) and working with APIs in at least one language is preferred
  • Experience with Google Big Query or another data warehouse
  • Knowledge of media platforms and associated media measurement pixels
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau for reporting and analysis
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g. SalesForce) and Lead Management tools (e.g. Eloqua, Marketo) preferred
