About Gale

As a Product Architect at GALE, you will use data to guide your decisions and develop solutions to pursue some of the most exciting opportunities in the B2B SaaS space in India and APAC region and scale them globally. You will architect, design, and lead the development of new enterprise SaaS/ PaaS products from scratch, using the latest cloud, web & mobile technologies.

We typically use open source frameworks including Python, Django on the backend and React on the frontend. We also extensively use AWS cloud services like EMR, Glue, Redshift along with Airflow, Nifi, and Spark among others.


What You Will Do

  • Architect, design, and develop full-stack enterprise SaaS products using the latest cloud, web & mobile technologies, and open source technology stacks.
  • Design complex systems keeping architectural guidelines in mind (secure, performance, scalable, extensible, flexible, simple)
  • Create technical designs based on business requirements
  • Execute in an agile environment using industry-standard tools and delivering weekly releases
  • Lead, mentor and train a team of full stack developers, engineers and devops.
  • You’ll work in a ‘no silos’ environment, frequently collaborating with clients, global teams and roles across the organization

Who You Are

  • 8+ years of experience developing responsive Web/Mobile Applications, preferably as B2B or B2C SaaS products
  • Proficient in creating Python applications using Flask/Django with an ORM like SQLAlchemy
  • Development experience in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks like React
  • Familiar with relational/ columnar/ star schema database design and writing SQL with a working knowledge of MySQL, MongoDB, AWS Redshift and Postgres.
  • Strong work breakdown, planning and estimation skills.
  • Ability to juggle several initiatives and shift priorities as needed
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written communication)
  • Leadership skills necessary to manage and develop a high-performance team
