Digital Negotiator

The Digital Negotiator will work cross-functionally on a collaborative and innovative team to provide exceptional media plans that deliver on and achieve client goals. This candidate should have a strong knowledge and background in digital campaign activation, optimization, and measurement and will work cross-functionally to manage and lead online and offline media buys with a focus on digital, FEP/OTT, social and linear TV. This role also provides the opportunity to oversee branded content and influencer programs and offers constant growth and exposure to new platforms and advertising capabilities.

  • Where relevant for the role, a technical aptitude test. (i.e. for domains in technology, data science, etc.)
  • Interview with a member of our team from a different Department than yours.  
  • Interview with a member of our Leadership Team.

What You Will Do

  • Manage development, implementation, and stewardship of digital, linear TV, social, and custom content direct partner media plans. Includes but is not limited to campaign set up, placement creation, trafficking and QA-ing of partner tags, optimizing to goal, reporting, and analysis of all buys
  • Maintain a deep understanding of digital tagging process and capabilities, communicate effectively with ad tech to ensure tags are wrapped correctly and proper pixels are firing to report all necessary and accurate data
  • Daily use of reporting dashboards, such as Google Campaign Manager (DCM) and Nielsen DAR, to check delivery and communicate with partners to ensure campaigns are live and pacing to weekly goals
  • Collaborate with the creative agency and partners to collect required specs, manage asset delivery dates, and maintain timelines for accurate and timely campaign launches
  • Liaise between client team and partners for 360 activations including influencer programs and custom content, ensure concepts align with overarching brand guidelines and campaign strategies
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of digital ecosystem, be able to have and create POVs on new potential partners that would align with clients
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the client’s business, the consumer journey and marketplace dynamics
  • Participate in negotiations, evaluating RFP’s, pricing, and program details across digital video, display, social platforms
  • Manage Integrated Investment Assistant and mentor them to be digital-first
  • Help to track campaign goals by partner knowing limitations on metrics from each partner
  • Maintain deep knowledge and use of Digital 3rd party servers and verification partners (DCM, Innovid, IAS, etc.)
  • Have a strong understanding of Digital, Mobile, and OTT landscape and concepts
  • Understand and use research tools, interpret data to apply learnings and provide actionable insights during planning process and make strategic recommendations
  • Ownership of budget tracking, management, and reporting
  • Oversee and manage monthly invoice billing and reconciliation
  • Display application of media knowledge to address media and business opportunities and challenges
  • Review IOs and necessary paperwork for purchase authorizations
  • Work with media partners to develop and execute campaigns
  • Work with our Programmatic and social teams to understand their ecosystem and then ensure we are all working toward one goal understanding partner lists and differences in activations

Who You Are

  • At least 2+ year of media agency experience, with main experience in digital
  • Excellent fundamental knowledge of media math and principles
  • Experience working with dashboards and systems: Prisma, DCM, IAS, DV
  • Preferred knowledge of youth digital and social media
  • Very strong Excel, PowerPoint, and presentation skills
  • Solid research and analytical skills, good mathematical aptitude, and attention to detail
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, work well under pressure with multiple assignments; meet tight deadlines and multi-task
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player and collaborate with cross-functional teams both internally and external
  • Direct client contact is a plus
