About Gale

We are seeking a results-driven, goal-oriented Director of Martech. This role is a crucial component in delivering results for our largest, most distinguished, enterprise-level clients. You must excel in managing multi-faceted, multi-million dollar engagements while working with various internal departments including accounts, strategy and marketing, creative, email development, customer experience, analytics,.

The ideal candidate must be able to understand how data, marketing technology and marketing automation delivers our clients’ needs and visualize the end result and deliver accordingly. You must be goal and result oriented, both on a large and small scale. Lastly, you must be prepared to meet deliverables, remain on top of all daily project activities amongst all team members, assess changes and risk management, and do so while maintaining multiple accounts.

What You Will Do

· Work with executive-level clients to unlock new potential streams of business value by providing insight regarding enterprise transformation agendas and articulate design considerations, trade-offs, benefits, and recommendations to technical architecture

· Provide options and recommendations for best of breed or enterprise marketing platforms to solve client needs

· Leading the technology delivery teams to design, plan, and build omnichannel marketing solutions

· Bridge the gap between the business strategy and technology enablers and drive value-based solutions and architecture strategy

· Present strategic business requirements and current solution to business as well as technical stake holders and demonstrate how GALE Partners can be a strategic and long-term partner in their digital transformation journey

· Design technical requirements and architecture solutions that span multiple platforms and include integration and authentication across systems

· Develop Target State Architecture and Roadmap presentations that are both industry-based and platform agnostic

· Understand and manage client expectations to enable a successful partnership between client and GALE Partners teams

· Incorporate 'design thinking' approaches when appropriate.

· Act as a trusted architect/advisor to executives to help define and set up governance models and design authorities

· Stay current on GALE Partners roadmap, architecture strategy, customer success, and value proposition across GALE Partners 's solution portfolio

· Conduct Executive visioning sessions that create a common view of the "art of possible".

· Participate in all appropriate product/sales training, certifications, educational sessions and industry summits to acquire and maintain knowledge necessary to be effective in the role

· Share engagement experience with the internal audiences and peers, conduct architecture workshops and other enablement sessions and mentor & guide junior architects


Work closely with regionally-aligned account teams (Sales, pre-sales, and professional services) to understand customer strategy & requirements and help define the account plan, solution strategy and architecture strategy

Who You Are

· 12+ years of experience in the software industry, with extensive knowledge of software development and enterprise software technologies

· 5+ years of experience in pre sales or a customer facing role

· A strong understanding of marketing, marketing technology process models and various marketing principles

· Can speak the language of marketing and understand the overarching concepts behind it

· A trusted advisor to CMO/CIO/CTO/EA level contacts and their teams as they look to accelerate their Digital Transformation

· You have an enterprise mindset and can help craft the future state architecture and "tell a story" as to how to get there

· You are proficient building customer facing Architecture presentations, diagrams, and whitepapers

· You possess strong presentation and communication skills and communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience

· You have an entrepreneurial, creative and Challenger mindset with a passion for ensuring customer success

· You have a broad understanding across various business domains and maintain a broad working knowledge of many technology areas

· You can proactively develop customer relationships by listening, understanding and anticipating, and then providing solutions to customer needs.

· You are a strong leader capable of representing GALE Partners on governance boards, technical and business design authorities

· You have a data-driven mindset, recognizes the importance of data governance and role that data plays in enabling marketing strategy

· A broad understanding of, and ability to discuss, modern Enterprise technologies such as low code development platforms, business rules, marketing automation platforms, CRM, case and work management, digital channels (ex. Statistical analysis and analytics, Data presentation, SEO and SEM/PPC marketing, Social media marketing, Marketing campaign management, Channel marketing, Public relations and communications, etc.), Adobe Marketing Cloud (Marketo), Oracle Marketing Cloud (Eloqua, Responsys), and Salesforce Marketing Cloud, IBM Marketing Cloud (Unica), campaign management, CMS, DSPs, CDPs, DMPs, and other ad platforms

· Advanced understanding of integration Technologies and Protocols, (ESB, MOM, Web Services, APIs, HTTP, REST, SOAP, JMS/MQ, etc.)

· Advanced understanding of contemporary enterprise class software architectures and development practices (JEE, Frameworks, SOA, Microservices, Agile, DevOps, etc.)
