About the role

GALE is currently looking to hiring a social/digital focused Designer to join our New York team. You are a multidisciplinary designer who is passionate about crafting experiences that are motivating, intuitive, and memorable. You will be responsible for exploring creative concepts and translating them into a wide range of design executions as well as taking designs during the final stages of development to ensure accuracy and prepare them for digital or print production following best practices within social and digital channels. You should have an eye for detail, be highly organized, self-motivated with the ability to take ownership in areas of responsibility.

What You Will Do


  • Digital production skills for social posts, websites, digital display, and CRM
  • Accurately produce development ready files
  • Work with speed, accuracy and efficiency
  • Packaging, slicing and exporting files for development


  • Creating Keynote, Powerpoint and Google slides presentations/decks
  • Creating icons, infographics and diagrams
  • Creating and ensuring consistency of visual elements and adherence to brand guide
  • Ensuring brand integrity for design elements
  • Assisting Art Directors and Designers with production of style guides and brand guides
  • Layouts and design (expanding on art direction)
  • Digital display banners

Who You Are

  • Strong design thinker demonstrating a solid digital portfolio
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in social and digital production
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and Google Slides
  • Stays up-to-date on consumer, design and technology trends
  • A dedication to delivering great quality work
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experienced in executing creative concepts while following brand guidelines
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams and projects simultaneously
  • Capable of sharing and revising designs based on research, peer reviews and team feedback
  • Comfortable with collaborating and communicating with others (Art Director, Designers, Developers, UX, Strategy, etc.)
  • Motion graphics or video familiarity with After Effects or Adobe Premiere
  • Photo post-production experience (retouching, color management)
  • Basic knowledge with HTML/CSS (nice to have – not mandatory)
